In this blog i am touching upon some very important info on Credit cards.

What is?

Plastic Money,the innovation of modern day Finance,known as Credit card finds a place in every wallet.

Who Offers?

There are a host of Banks offering cards.

Type :

Cards can be

1. Charge Cards - Diners

2. Credit Cards - Visa or Master

3. Co-branded - usually issued under brand name of one bank and another company.Example: ICICI bank with Hindustan petroleum.

Fee :

Now a days most cards come free.some at a fee.Check with Individual issuer on this.

Interest Rate :

Card outstanding attract interest and the rates are similar in most cases.Minor differences exist.


Tips for Credit card holding and usage:

Number of Cards : Restrict to 2 or 3.

Usage : Make proper use.Avoid being impulsive.

Payments : Pay before due date.

Revolving : Avoid. Revolving carries high rate of interest.

Cash Drawal :Draw if you MUST. Each drawal WILL COST YOU.

Online usage : Restrict to one card.

Statements : Check transactions are yours. Also check accuracy.

Charges : Ensure charges levied are correct.

Disputes : Raise promptly issues on Wrong/ excessive/un authorised
debit.
Records : Keep records, correspondences up to date.

History : Maintain good credit History.Take immediate steps to
correct the errors. Do not ignore.


Insurance : Opt for Insurance that covers Critical Illness and Accidental
Death/Disability.

Smile

Hi,

As i set out to write theses lines I remember having read a poetry which goes like this :

`` Smile is quite a funny thing,

It wrinkles up your face,

When it is gone, nobody knows where it is``.

Keep smiling. It does not cost anything.

You increase your face value over a period of time.

Smile like a baby. Full of innocence.

Let there be no cunningness in the smile.

Let the smile radiate genuineness, care and love to all.

Give it a try. A smile can take you miles farther in the journey of life.

Smile is contagious. It can travel beyond limits of time and space.

I know for sure that you would be able to bring back the smile and go extra mile in life.
